Michael has over 25 years of experience in crafting award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s most recognised brands, working at leading creative agencies across the globe. His career includes stints at Clemenger BBDO, Ogilvy Sydney and Melbourne, Grey Group Australia and Greater China, as well as leading Roller, News Corp Australia’s in-house creative agency. Most recently, he founded Early Days, a creative consultancy designed to help startups and scale-ups find their voice and master modern marketing strategies.
Michael has collaborated with a wide range of clients, creating campaigns for global and local brands including QANTAS, Volvo, Hong Kong Tourism Board, HSBC, Telstra, P&G and R.M.Williams. He is committed to bringing big, original ideas to life and working with ambitious, collaborative teams.
Michael’s work has been recognised at D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Effies and Spikes Asia, and he’s served as a judge at these same prestigious shows. Michael co-hosts The Imposterous, a podcast that features insightful conversations with some of the industry's most well-known creatives, exploring imposter syndrome and how confidence affects their work.
A passionate advocate for creative leadership, Michael has consistently championed mentorship. He’s spoken at major industry events and worked closely with teams to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation and ambition.
Michael lives and works in Melbourne, Australia, and is dedicated to creating impactful work that connects brands and audiences in original ways.
